PRESBYOND LBV 視覺融合激光手術步驟
1.製作角膜瓣
利用飛秒激光在角膜打開一個切口，形成角膜瓣。
2. 翻開角膜瓣
角膜薄片形成後，會把角膜瓣像蓋子一樣往後翻。
3. 矯正屈光度數
利用準分子激光打磨角膜，以矯正主力眼遠距離視力的屈光度數，及非主力眼的近距離視力的屈光度數。
4. 合上角膜瓣
最後把角膜瓣合上，其後傷口會自然癒合，無需縫針。
晶體置換手術介紹
晶體置換手術是一種將混濁的自然晶體替換為三焦點人工晶體的置換手術，旨在解決三個不同距離的視力問題：近距離、中距離和遠距離。這種方法對於希望減少依賴眼鏡的患者尤其有益，為日常活動提供了更方便的視覺解決方案。
三焦點人工晶體的設計旨在增強多個距離的視力清晰度。與傳統的單焦點晶體僅能在一個距離提供清晰視力不同，三焦點人工晶體採用多焦點設計，使患者能夠實現更廣泛的功能性視力。通過在晶體中整合不同的光學區域，這些植入物顯著改善視覺表現，從而提升接受晶體置換手術的個體的整體生活質量。
1. 準備工作
手術在門診進行，每隻眼睛通常需要 15 分鐘。 手術前，會使用滴劑麻醉眼睛，讓患者在更換晶體時不會感到疼痛。 眼睛會通過一個微小的角膜切口打開，切口可以無縫癒合。
2. 摘除天然晶體
前部晶狀體囊膜以環形撕開並打開，利用超聲波乳化技術震碎和摘除混濁晶體。晶體前囊以圓形管道打開。 然後取下晶體核。晶體外囊的其餘部分保留下來，用作新人工晶體的「固定裝置」。
3. 晶體
每位患者都會獲得一個根據其個人需求量身訂做的晶體。這種人工晶體可以永久留在眼睛內，肉眼無法看見。
4. 植入晶體
眼科醫生使用注射器將人工晶體植入眼睛。人工晶體從摺疊狀態自動翻開，並取代了原本晶狀體的位置，固定好人工晶體後即可完成。三焦點晶體除了矯正白內障，還能同時矯正老花和屈光不正的視力問題。

Trifocal Lens
A trifocal intraocular lens (IOL) is often utilized in lens exchange surgery, designed to enhance visual acuity across multiple ranges. Unlike traditional monofocal lenses, which provide clarity at only one distance, trifocal IOLs feature a multifocal design that allows patients to achieve a broader spectrum of functional vision. By incorporating distinct optical zones within the lens, these implants significantly improve visual performance, thereby enhancing the overall quality of life for individuals undergoing lens replacement procedures.
Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF)
Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF) IOLs: EDOF IOLs are designed to enhance intermediate and near vision, making them suitable for tasks like reading, using a computer, and viewing objects at arm’s length.
Monofocal lens
Monofocal lens is a type of intraocular lens used in cataract surgery that corrects vision at a single distance, such as far or near. While it significantly improves clarity at the chosen distance, patients may still need glasses for tasks at other distances, like reading or using a computer. This lens is often more affordable and straightforward, making it a popular choice, but it does not provide the versatility of multifocal or light adjustable lenses.

If you have private health insurance, consultations, investigations, diagnostics and surgery are typically covered, subject to prior authorisation from your insurer. Coverage can vary between insurers, so it’s important to check with yours directly. However, please note that most insurers do not cover consultations related to refractive surgery.
What is PRESBYOND laser eye surgery?
With the Presbyond Laser Blended Vision method, both eyes are separately optimised for distance and near vision. Of particular importance is the so-called “Blend Zone”, the intermediate area for the middle range of vision. With the help of detailed measurements, this zone is individually determined and optimised for you, so that you can see all details sharply in the near and far range as well as in the middle range after the treatment.
The depth of field is adjusted individually for each eye and the overlap of the images in the middle area is calculated very precisely for the patient. This unique “blend zone” makes it easier for the brain to merge the images from both eyes. This creates the familiar three-dimensional image – and most patients experience an immediate improvement in their vision. In addition, they usually get used to their new vision more quickly than with other surgical correction methods.

The majority of patients tolerate the procedure very well: up to 97%* (compared to only 59-67%** with monovision). Another and crucial advantage of Laser Blended Vision is that contrast sensitivity (night vision) and three-dimensional vision are fully preserved in almost all cases.
Is PRESBYOND laser blended vision the right method for me?
Presbyond Laser Blended Vision is very suitable for people with an active lifestyle who find glasses, varifocals and reading glasses or even contact lenses impractical and who want to see everything sharply without any aids. Another great advantage is that this method also eliminates previously existing visual defects such as short-sightedness (myopia), long-sightedness (hyperopia) or astigmatism. In a personal consultation, we will determine together with you whether this method is the most suitable for you. The type and degree of your refractive error(s), the curvature and thickness of the cornea, as well as many other factors also play an important role. In addition, your tolerance for monovision and eye dominance will be tested.
Treating Presbyopia with Multifocal & Trifocal Lens Surgery
Multifocal and trifocal lens surgery involves implanting artificial lenses in the eye, which are able to correctly change the refractive power of light in order to see things close up and at a distance. Because the lens is artificial, it doesn’t lose its properties over time like a natural lens, and so your vision remains constant and will no longer change as you age.
At Euroeyes Hong Kong, we only use premium lenses. This means that the glare is kept to minimal levels and you’ll be able to see better in reduced light conditions, such as at night.
The procedure is relatively straight forward and takes around 15 minutes per eye to complete.
